The aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights, is a natural light display in the sky, primarily visible at high latitude regions. It is caused by the interaction of charged particles from the sun with the Earth's atmosphere. The aurora borealis is most commonly seen in the winter months, when the nights are longer and the sky is darker.

The best time to view the aurora borealis is within an hour or two of midnight or 10 pm.. This is when the Earth's magnetic field is most active and the aurora is most likely to be visible. To view the aurora, find a dark location away from city lights. The darker the location, the better the view. You may also want to use binoculars or a telescope to get a closer look.

The aurora borealis is a beautiful and awe-inspiring sight. If you are lucky enough to see it, be sure to enjoy the experience.
